2 Prenatal Appointments
Prenatal visits last at least an hour. This is our opportunity to get to know each other and discuss what you are looking for in a doula. Additionally, it's where we can build your birth plan, and talk about your thoughts, expectations, and fears on the up-and-coming birth.

1 Prenatal Appointment with your Provider

This is the time for your whole care team to come together. I’ll meet with you and your OB or Midwife to review your birth plan.

Continuous Labor Support
I’m happy to support you whether your birth is at home, hospital, or birthing center. I will bring my tools and knowledge to aid you in having the birth experience you desire. I will also personally ensure that every person attending to your birth has a copy of your birth plan should you choose to make one. After delivery I stay an additional two hours to ensure everyone is fed, warm, and tucked in.

2 Postpartum Appointments

Two postpartum visits lasting at least an hour to support breastfeeding, finding postpartum connections, and healing. I help with diapering, light housework, errands, and caring for your little one so you can take that much-needed time to shower or nap.

Cost…

The total cost of my birth doula services is $1,500. I do request a non-refundable deposit of $500 before 36 weeks to hold your place on my calendar.

If you are covered by OHP or IHN (Medicaid) at the time of your pregnancy and birth you may qualify to have a doula completely covered by insurance. Please contact me to learn how to get referred or if you qualify.
