My Process…

It all starts at your place of birth. Once your placenta is earthside, then I’ll quickly come to pick it up. In my own kitchen, I prep the placenta by cleaning and cutting it. Then I either dehydrate the raw placenta (typically overnight) until there is no moisture left or steam it with a custom blend of herbs then dehydrate it. From there I grind it into a powder that can then be put into capsules. I have two options for capsules one is made from beef gelatin and the other is completely vegan.

The size of your placenta determines how many capsules you will get. On average people will receive 100-250 capsules. After all this, the capsules will get packaged into a recyclable glass jar with instructions on storage and dose. This jar is then delivered to your home within the first week.

Why consider placental encapsulation?

Did you know humans are the only mammal that doesn’t regularly eat their placenta? Research does confirm that eating your placenta is very safe! All of the current evidence that supports placenta encapsulation is anecdotal. Mothers report an increase in energy, leveling off of hormones, an increase in milk supply, and a decrease in postpartum depression. The placenta is also rich in nutritious minerals, proteins, and fats.

Cost…

At this time the total cost for my services is $200. I ask for a $100 deposit by 36 weeks.

I can process your placenta into a tincture as well (about 4oz) for $35.

Placenta Prints are $10 each.

This is to hold your spot on my calendar. If this is not affordable for you, please reach out to me personally!
